Unable to focus the lens...

So many creative outlets and I'm unable to focus my energy through any of them. I start on a project only to leave it unfinished. The only thing I really commit to is the games I run and play, but those are open ended projects. This has actually given me a couple of ideas to focus and something to submit to my gallery.

Idea One:
-Monthly submissions of short stories involving my player group from one of the two games that I run. These would be based off of events in the game and largely guided by the actions of my players.

Idea Two:
-Background stories concerning things transpiring before or beyond the scope of my players in the games that I run. I personally think I like this idea the most in that I can give voice to the visions I have that set up the current environment my PC's are involved in. The focus of these tales would be the NPC's and background characters mentioned and only given brief limelight.

More to come, I'm sure. Sadly it isn't that my muse is silent, but that I'm a poor outlet for it.

I'm an aspiring writer. I would love to dedicate myself to fostering growth within the tabletop RPG community, but alas I must slave away at the 9 to 5! I'm an Air Force Reservist until 2010.

Right now I enjoy writing short works of fiction and endings are entirely optional. I actually prefer to write in a manner that gives the reader a mere snapshot of a given situation. Perhaps it helps to fire their imaginations as they ponder what would or should happen next.

Trust me, I wish I could draw like those guys in my faves! I think if I could draw I might never leave the house. I visualize so much, but can only seem to express myself in words.

Well, I don't have a gallery up yet. Unfortunately, my talent no longer resides in pictures (much to my own dismay). I do plan on submitting various written projects in the future, so stay tuned!
